Sorry that happened to you. Please understand that it was very crazy for us at LBS. You were probably one of 30 in their add window (or mine). We were doing random selection and had our pm's on Do Not Disturb for most of the time. We tried to keep it fair but ppl were out of control. It was all good fun though
I now can empathize with Gaile. You are all insane and I love you for it.
I hope you don't hold it against us if you didn't get what you were looking for.
If you did get a run from LBS please head over to our website and leave us some feedback ( http://www.lbsra.net/forums/ ). We love hearing from you. Good or bad.....

Well, if they were/are offering free runs from Ascalon to LA and/or Drok's so that newbs don't miss out on the holiday goodies, I think that's awesome.

Your generosity (and obvious display of wealth) has convinced me to get a few more ectos so I can (hopefully) join your ranks with my war's account. See you soon [LBS].

well, you have to remember that word of an event like this spreads fast. Those poor runners probably had no chance to enjoy the rest of the festivities for running to Drok's, zone back to Beacon's, rinse & repeat.

I am happy that somebody has the holiday spirit. While we did give out many gifts that was not our main goal. Our goal...if I had to narrow it down to one...is the above quote. We were there to assist new and old players alike with runs all over Tyria for FREE. Most runs were to Droks but we also did a few Ascension runs for groups. If you didn't get a gift I am sorry. Unlike Anet we cannot open your inventory and insert items (or nerf them). We did our very best to please the masses in the community. I know that some individuals waited (some hours) and I personally apologize that you missed out on exceptional displays of both good and bad skills. <----Toast you did good....Me did bad...died 2 times in Lomars. Just happy we had dual runners those 2 times.
I still hope that you and yours have a very Merry Christmas!

Well I showed up hoping for a Droks run, because I want to get armor for my E/N so I can thru the skills unlocking, with my third toon thru the game, Im gonna take shortcuts
Anyway I try to join this one LBS members group Hanso Togakure, and Hanso tells me he is going to the desert instead, and asks me if thats what I want to do. I hadn't planned on that, but said hey what the he11, its Xmass why not
All I have to say is Hanso for teh win! What a fun guy to run with! Very good at what he does and very professional. One member of my group was quite frankly being a horses arse but Hanso was polite to him the whole time even though all I wanted to do was choke him  I mean this was a XMASS freebe!
So Hanso takes us to the desert, runs us thru every single town and does one of the missions for us!
After we do that I go back to Beacon's 1 and try and get a XMASS present. I wait in line and try and answer trivia, and nothing is happening. Then all the sudden who opens a trade window with me? Hanso out of the blue and gives me a yellow staff for the new Mo/W Im working on.
WOW
Thanks LBSRA, and especially thanks Hanso for the great GW XMASS gift last night. When I get enough ectos put away, Ill probably be sending you an application.
These guys and especially Hanso get my strongest recommendation for running and mission completion services. Hanso; I posted in your thread and will be geting ahold of you about a run to Droks in the near future. IGN is Aravir Elessar. If you need a recommendation in game and I'm on, send me a tell and let me know who to talk to.
Merry XMASS! to all the LBSRA folks, thanks for the great gift last night, and especially thanks for trying to be so patient with everyone when the demand for your services last night was so high! You guys did a great service to the community last night and I for one really appreciate it

I already said that there is no guarantie that you would get items... if you where just there for free items then you didnt deserve any.
It was meant to be a fun time for everyone to enjoy... if you wanted to get in on free items you should have went at the beggining (I was there from 3:30 Central till bout 10 mins after it ended)

Just wanted to say thanks to all the LBS members who went millions of miles beyond the call last night. You guys have done something for the community that's going to be hard to ever match. Have a great holiday, and seriously, take some time off!

I would like to post a "thank you" to LBS for this holiday giveaway! I got both my mesmer and my necro run to Drok's. They were 2-1 through Lornar's Pass, which I thought was quite impressive, since the other times I've had Drok's runs the runners were more like 1-3. Also very friendly and polite. This is the best advertising y'all could have ever had! I will definitely remember LBS if I need any runs in the future.

Hm hm...I sat in Beacon's International D1 from about eleven thirty in the morning till roughly five or six. I can safely say that close to the start of festivities, and after things had kicked off, that things were nuts. Personally, I think LBSRA's best Christmas present to the players in that event was staying sane long enough to complete their runs :-P. All I know is that me (Ria of the Twilight), and a relatively tiny handful of other players (Dawn Wraithwind, Sybille of Istari) seemed to be the only voices of reason in an endless sea of people with bad grammar asking for items. I ended up just clicking off the Local channel in disgust. Still, I did get a great Cruel Wingblade of Trollslaying, free booze, and in on one of the runs Me No Fat died in XP. The guy that completed the run, Brutaniu, was an awesome player, and was a good sport all the way through.
As bloody intimidating as this insane display of Guild wealth was, I give my most sincere thanks to Lady Bluesteel's Running Academy for this awesome party, and my heartfelt sympathy for having to put up with what ye did. I know I wouldn't have had the patience for it.

I was there last night. And it was the worst place to be at with all those unkown peoples. No offense to the LBS memembers like Eks, Killer Toast and others. But seriously, those idiots (aka... "GIVE ME STUFF", or "I WANT BUNCH OF ECTOS" users) should have not been invite for the party. All they did was stand there and complain and whine. About mid-way through giving out free gifts, people start a riot. You see people typing in all cap, and cut in line and generally being a dumbass.
Still the event is good and hope that LBS will continue their running acdemy and start events like this.
Good job overall. Althought i didn't get gift since someone last night ruin it!
